DES Calendar & Announcements

Announcements....

Breakfast:

If students would like to eat breakfast in the cafeteria, then they need to be at school no later than 7:30 because all students need to be in their classrooms at 7:45.

Car Rider Schedule in the morning:

7:10-7:35- Because of the buses unloading students in the front of the building in the morning, students should be dropped off at the car rider side door.  We have extended this for 5 minutes over last year to prevent congestion in the front of the school.  At 7:35, the door will be locked because that employee has to go to her classroom.

7:35-7:45- Students should be dropped off at the front entrance.  All buses should be gone by this time.  Deputy Jeff Smith will be out front many mornings to assist directing traffic.

After 7:45 - Students should report to the office to sign in and they will be counted tardy.  Please have students to school before 7:45 because they have to be in class at 7:45 when the bell rings.

Safety Concern:

All parents need to check in at the office as they enter the building.

Car Rider Schedule in the afternoon-

2:35- Students should be picked up at the car rider side door.  Please pick up the student from 2:35-3:00.

This is a slight change from last year.

PTCO News:

Box Tops for Education is something we continue to promote.  We want to get as many Box Tops as possible.  Box Tops can be found on many products from cereal to zip lock bags, Campbell Soup proof of purchase and Tyson A+ labels.  Please keep sending in the Box Top Labels.  We have received over $200 in labels.  Our goal this year is $500.  Go to boxtops4education.com to see all the new products that have labels.
