1. Can you add names to the pictures?
We do not place students' names with photos on the web-site for security reasons.
2. Why aren't some of the photos clear?
The graphics on your computer may need to be changed.
If you have Windows 98 or newer, try the following:
A. Click Control Panel.
B. Go to Display
C. From the box, Click on the Settings tab.
D. Set the Color Quality to 32 bit or 16 bit. Either one should work.
(Increasing the pixels may also help.)
3. Why can't I come to my child's classroom when I come to pick him/her up?
We try to minimize the disruptions within a classroom. It is less disruptive to call a student to the office. This is also for your child's security. In order to keep our school safe, we do our best to limit the number of people with access to our hallways.
4. What do I need to do if someone other than those listed on my child's emergency card is picking him/her up from school?
Students being picked up by someone other than those listed must have a note signed by the parent or guardian stating who will be picking the child up.
5. What do I need to do if my child needs to ride a different bus?
Students who are riding a different bus (going home with a friend or other location) need a note stating which bus they are to ride and their destination. This note must be signed by the parent or guardian. If possible, parents should contact the bus driver with this information also.
6. I need to talk to my child's teacher, but the teacher seems to be in class all day. What should I do?
Ever teacher has e-mail. From our home page choose "teacher e-mails" or call school and leave a message for your child's teacher.
7. Why do some of the teachers have web pages and not others?
Some teacher's choose to create web pages with information about homework and classroom projects. Other teachers opt to decline having a web page. If you would like to see your child's teacher have a classroom page, please speak with that teacher personally. Updating web pages can be time-consuming. Often, some teachers would be happy to have parent assistance in keeping a page updated. Any parent who would like to work with a teacher to keep a classroom web page may contact that teacher via e-mail or by calling the school: 232-5505.
8. Do you ask parent permission before putting photos on the site?
A letter is sent home at the beginning of the school year explaining that we place students photos on our site. For security reasons, we do not put children's name and photo on the same page. The letter explains that parents who do not want their child's photo on our site may contact the office to ensure that it is not placed there.
