2011-2012 Collaboration Winners August-  Nancy Myers Let's Use the Library Mrs. Myers was an avid library user last year and shared her plans for 2011-2012. September- Kathy Smith Try Something New Mrs. Smith added some new library-supported lessons to her repertoire. October- Catherine Watson Lab In a Lab Mrs. Waton's classes have been using the Library Computer Lab for some labs of their own.  Using an internet-based tool, students perform virtual labs on lots of science topics November-   Cheryl Wooten Whodunit? Mrs. Wooten required students to read a crime/mystery novel to prepare for learning about crime scene investigation.  This was a great way to give them a knowledge base to build learning. December Chris Austin, Myles Holliday, George Gray, Jackie Perigen and Mike Craig Reading is Good for You! These educators have been actively encouraging students in ISS to read read read when they have finished their regular classroom lessons for the day. January Connie Baggett Mrs. Baggett acted upon some information that was sent to her from her friendly librarian.  As a result, she won a very  prestigious award, $7500, a trip to Philadelphia and the opportunity to present at an educational summit.
