cutecolorsbuntulip2.gifBehavior Consequencescutecolorsbuntulip2.gif

If a child breaks a rule, a verbal warning will be given and a reminder will be given to direct him/her toward positive behavior.  If the child continues to misbehave, he/she will turn a card.  Each card has a consequence associated with it.  Children begin each day on a green card.

            Green card:  GREAT day!

            Yellow card: warning

Red card: Lose 15 minutes recess time

Blue card:  Lose 30 minutes recess time

If the child continues to misbehave after reaching the blue card, the child will be sent to the principal’s office and a parent will be contacted.

IN EXTREME CASES OF MISBEHAVIOR, A STUDENT MAY BE SENT TO THE PRINCIPAL WITHOUT REACHING THE BLUE CARD.
