I was the seventh out of eight children (6 girls and 2 boys).  I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee.

I have lived in Oak Ridge and Dickson in Tennessee; Wilmington, Delaware; and Richmond, Virginia.

I was living in Dickson, Tennessee, when I met my husband 30 years ago.  We have been married for 29 years and have three children and one grandchild.  We live in Erin, Tennessee.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville and a Master of Science Degree from Austin Peay State University. 

This is my 11th year at NSE and I love working with the students and staff in Stewart County.
