State Conference

2008

Stewart County High School FBLA participated in the 2008 State FBLA Conference in Chattanooga April 10-12. There were 1800 students from 150 schools across the state in attendance. The students attended workshops, took written contests and competed in their respective competitions.

Shandi Smith presided as the 2007-08 Region Three President. Jordan Brainard was installed as the 2008-09 Region Three President.

These people placed in the following competitions:

· Josh Lundrigan and Jarrett Grasty were called back and performed in finals in Business Presentations

· 7th - Steven Rimmer in Word Processing I

· 6th - Jordan Brainard and Wes Myers in Emerging Business Issues

· 5th - Alicia Araya, Brandy Reed, Cassie Herron and Kristen Allen placed in Parliamentary Procedures Parlimentary Procedure Team

· 5th - Shandi Smith in Client Services

· 2nd - Shelby Black, Kevin Hargis, and Mark Patterson in Emerging Business Issues

· 1st - Kortney Knight, Kevin Loveland, and Jessica Wilson in Business Plan Team
